"Hi, my name is Danny and I am from Tampa, Florida on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to talk about how to use and maintain a band saw. Now I am going to talk about the different types of blades you can use and put on your band saw. Right here is a metal cutting blade. You can see this is for a steel. This has about eighteen to twenty teeth per inch. They make actually different types of metal cutting blades for ferris and non ferris metals. It's aluminum and steel. I also have a wood cutting blade and you can see there is about eighteen per inch. This is for cutting wood. Plywood and all that. I usually use the metal cutting because I cut more metal than I do wood. Those are the types of blades you can put on your band saw. You want to make sure when you have the blade on and your cutting a specific type of metal or wood, you want to make sure the right blade is on. If you have the wood one one and your trying to cut metal it is going to break all the teeth off. So make sure you do that before you use it."
