"Hey, welcome, my name is Lars Erick Robinson, I'm a freelance illustrator, and my company is LarsEr Arts All around Art-tainment. Today we're going to talk about, how to do a flip book. Well, usually when I go to schools and stuff like that, you can take cards and you can just flip them, you can even take something like this (I have it blanked out) and just flip it like that. And today we took one of my artist pads, and I did a little face in the corner here, (my camera man said he can focus right in on this), so we flip it like that, so you make it flip by just going, he's getting madder and madder, so this is the way you can- you can just take either a big pad even, and to do a flip book, if you we're going to take still shots of each one of these, you do one big face here, and if you we're going to actually do this for an animation, they'd actually take a shot of this. So here's a guy smiling, I'm going to try and draw me maybe, he's smiling, even though I don't have a goatee, I love drawing mustaches, it's kind of fun, it kind of gives it a little depth. And then we'll take that, and they take a picture of it, and maybe he's turning over this way and looking that way. And what animators do is, they go back and forth like that and look, and try to have him look to the other side. Alright, he's upset now I think here, I hope you guys can see this; maybe his hairs different now, but you want to still try to see the characteristics. At least that gives you guys a little bit explanation on how you do flip books, and you can just play with it. Thank you so much for joining me."
