"Hi I'm Chris Bryce from superservice.com. Let's talk about, how to open and play FLV files on-line and off-line. There are several decoders available that will add to Windows Media Player, or Real Player, or your other media players that are on your computer, to allow you to open an FLV file. The easiest way to accomplish this though, is to use a product like, VLC's Media Player. VLC Media Player allows you to play FLV files whether you're on the Internet, or if you've stored them to your computer. To play them off the Internet, you simply need to browse to the Internet page that has the FLV file embedded in it, or included in it, and it will automatically play for you. In order to play it off-line, you would need to save that file to your computer, either by right clicking, or if there's a download button available, you can download it and save it to your computer, in your music files or your video files, or just on your desktop. Whatever director you choose to use, you can then open that file, using VLC, or similar program, and be able to play those files. That's the easiest way to open and play FLV files, on-line and off-line."
