"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to link data from another data base in Microsoft Access. Let's open up access. Let's start all programs, Microsoft Office and Access. Let's open up a data base. I'm just going to say, my database 3 and say open. If you get a security warning, just click open again. What we're going to do is add a link table into this database. Right click somewhere here in this blank area and just say, link tables. It's going to ask you then what database you want to link a table from. Let's select my database and say link. It'll list the tables that are in that data base. We will select sales and press okay. As you could see, we now have a sales table in my database 3 that's coming from another database. You can tell by that little arrow. Double click on it and you'll open data from the other database. It's that easy to link tables in Microsoft Access. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to link to data from another database in Microsoft Access."
