"Hi, my name is Veronica Baragas, and I'm with my wiggles and giggles.com and I'm going to share with you how to wean a baby off a bottle. Now, this is not an easy process and it'll probably be a little bit more difficult for you that it will for them. Initially, I would start weaning them off the bottle around twelve months or so, it's about the time that you start to convert to cows milk and, you know, the Sippy cups and things like that. If you're not doing it cold turkey, by just eliminating bottles all together, I would start with, you know, around ten or eleven months, integrating Sippy cups and slowly taking a bottle a day away, like a morning feeding, use a Sippy cup, little by little gradually fading it in, and eventually, hopefully, you can get to about twelve or thirteen months only using bottles at night time, and that's ok too. So, it could take you anywhere from a week or two to a couple of months, depending on the progress of your consistency, and the taking of the Sippy cup for your baby. So, just be patient and know that it will come soon enough. So, helping weaning your baby off the bottle can be as easy as doing it cold turkey, or eliminating it one bottle feeding at a time through a Sippy cup."
