"Hi, welcome to back to Expert Village. My name is Kat Latrenta and I'm a professional entertainer. And through this segment, I have taken you from top to bottom how to put a character together, how to put your music together, your costume, your make-up, and your music. Now, what good is all that if you can't book it? Well when I started out with a new character, what I liked to do is take it around to the retirement villages. They're just so lovely. The people really love your show. Especially an Irish show. You can get away with a lot of things there. But more important, it gets your feet wet on what songs work and what songs don't work. And you know when you're rehearsing it in the studio, it sounds like such a great idea. And you get out in front of an audience and maybe it just doesn't work. Well one trick of mine is if something is not working, go to your three or four songs that are sing a longs. You hit them with these sing a longs and I'm telling you, you've got that crowd. And it helps you figure out what works and what doesn't work. Now you might even want to put a website together with some pictures and a couple of sound bites of songs that you do and all the different characters that you're putting together. That also would help you get some work. Let's all have a good time with the characters that we do. Bye bye."
