"Hi, my name is Katie and we're here at Expert Village where I'm showing you how to put an Irish show together. We've chosen the music, we've put it on CD and produced it ourselves, we've put on the make-up and we've put on the wig. Isn't it grand? Now if you can just do a wee bit of an Irish accent when you put on the costume. I've put this costume together with just a plain skirt. Went to a second hand shop and bought the skirt, cut the material off the bottom because I thought it was a wee bit too long and put on some ruffles. And all I did was gather this up and put a safety pin in it. And it gives it just a little bit of that Irish Washer Woman look. Now with the material that I had left, I made a nice neckerchief because that really sets off the ambiance. And with this plain white blouse with the ruffles on it, I attached some of the same material to give me a nice figure flattering look. And then for a dollar, I found this wonderful shawl. And you never know when a wind is going to kick up and you're going to need your favorite shawl. And that's Katie the Irish Beer Maid."
