"Hi I'm Linda Wooldridge and I'm a homeschooling mom. How do you apply to homeschool your child online? Well online is a great place to start. Perhaps you will want to start with Home School Legal Defense Association. They have an online website where they list the requirements for all 50 states. Once you have found that information you will have the contact information to apply for homeschooling. In our county you can't actually apply to homeschool online. They want a signed document in their files so that they have proof that you have registered to homeschool but that might not be the case where you live. Some states require that you register with them and some just let you home school as you see fit. So be sure and check online sites if you can't find the information that you can't find the information that you need online through HSLDA then do a search for your state and home schooling and see what information pops up there. Once you have gotten your information then you can go ahead and register to homeschool and start having a wonderful homeschool adventure together and don't forget to go back on line looking for other resources because the rules do change from time to time and your child will change from grade to grade and you'll need more information from your county at any given time so bookmark those websites. In any event to start your homeschooling adventure, go on line search for your state and the homeschooling requirements and follow those requirements exactly as they're written and then you'll be on your way.
