"Hi, I'm Linda Wooldridge and I'm a home school mom. I've graduated one student so when people ask me " How do I get my high school diploma at home?" I've had a little experience with that area. There are several ways to approach it. Obviously, if you're already home schooling then you would graduate from your home school and when your parent/teacher feels that you are ready to graduate then you graduate. But, if that's no longer an option for then you might want to look into one of the many correspondence schools available either online or via the mail. Be sure and check them out and look over what programs they offer to make sure they are in fact a good fit for you. A third option, of course, would be to take your GED or graduate equivalency diploma. Now, if you are interested in going onto college that may not be your first choice because, generally speaking, a graduate equivalency diploma is not looked upon by colleges in the same way that graduating from high school is. But, you still have three options: home schooling, a correspondence school, or getting your GED and which ever way you choose it will be a great experience because you'll know that you've got that high school diploma and you're ready to face the world. I'm Linda Wooldridge, have a great home schooling day."
