"How do you tell if your hermit crab is pregnant? You can't. That's a simple answer. Hermit crabs, unfortunately, we don't understand how they breed, we don't understand how they reproduce, the environmental conditions, the various needs, things like that. We can't even tell if they're pregnant. There's no way to know. And if your hermit crab does happen to get pregnant, by some bizarre way or reason, you'll probably never even know. And, you'll never be the wiser. Because hermit crabs have to lay their eggs, he's going to come out for me here. Hermit crabs have to lay their eggs in the ocean. They're so microscopic that they feed on micro nutrients in the surf. We can't provide that, so. Honestly, there's no way to tell if your hermit crab is pregnant, and you'll never be the wiser. So, just enjoy your hermit crab for what he is, and don't worry about it."
