"Hi I'm Chris Bryce from SuperService.com. We're going to talk today about how to type, or the best way to type. Now a lot of people out there are what they call hunt and peck typers where you use two fingers and try to find where your keys are at on the keyboard. The proper way to type is actually what they call the "home row technique". Now the home row are actually keys on the keyboard. For your left hand, you would use "a", "s", "d" and "f". And for your right hand would be "j", "k", "l" and the semicolon key. Now if you keep your fingers on those keys, "a-s-d-f" for the left hand, "j-k-l-semicolon" for the right hand, then your two thumbs will rest on the space bar. Any time you need to type using different keys you will simply use the closest finger to that key to proceed with typing. After practice, you'll get to where you can actually not look at the keys anymore and you can look at either the paper that you're transcribing off of, or the screen itself, and type away. That's what we call the "home row" and how to type."
