"I'm Bruce Marshall, fashion designer and Emmy award nominated costume designer here to talk to you today about basically just dressing as the best average man you can. For instance the uniform is always the suit for a man and you know how that works. It can be navy blue, it can be gray, it can be black but when it is average it is pretty much in those monotones, it is nothing like shark skin or bright or shiny, it's always down played. It can be pin striped, it can be three pieced just like this one with the vest but basically your tie is simple, a basic white shirt, you're basically black and white, it's so simple so average but it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be boring, you understand and that's always a point to make, average does not mean boring. Now if you tend to think average you tend to think it's never too high or too low it's always right in the middle and with that said a look like this that I consider average you can even remove your jacket and really what could be more average than just a vest to go. Again like you see, the tie it will not have a whole bunch of color it will just be simple, and monotone and just accent the outfit, not take away."
