"Hi my name is Caroline and this is Amanda. We are here at Encore Gymnastics and we are going to teach you how to do a roundoff into a backflip. Before you do any exercise you want to make sure you stretch. Go through all your stretches, do a butterfly, that's the butterfly, and pike, very good, straddle, very nice, bring down the middle and do your lunges on each side. These stretches you are going to want to hold for probably about 20 to 30 seconds, very good, other side. You are also going to want to stretch your wrists and your ankles so go ahead and do your wrists right now, very good and put your feet on the ground and stretch your ankles that way. This still pretty much requires all of your muscles and you want to make sure you are all the way stretched out. When you do your roundoff, we are going to start with that and you are going to start in a lunge, a little bit like a cartwheel but what is going to happen is you are going to turn in the middle you are going to turn your hips and snap your feet down on the ground. So lunge, here turn, snap and finish up tall. That is going to connect into you back tuck. You don't get to do any arm swing into it, you go straight into it so do that roundoff one more time. And there is the back tuck right there at the end. So she is going to do a round off back tuck. You want to make sure that you have both of these skills, that both of these skills are something that you can do separate before you can do them together. Arms up, and go ahead. Very good. You will want to connect them a little bit faster than that. That was a little bit slow motion so you can see where everything goes. We are going to do it again and she is going to do it a little quicker. That's how to do a round off into a back tuck."
