"Hi my name is Caroline and I am here at Encore Gymnastics with Amanda and we are going to teach you how to do a backflip twist. You want to make sure before you do this skill that you stretch out your body. Stretch your ankles especially, turn them around, do the other one, also you want to stretch your neck. You are going to go side to side and up and down, very good and the other thing you want to stretch is your shoulders. So go ahead and stand up or push out the other way if that works for you, very good and you are all ready to go. You want to make sure that you have mastered the skill of the backflip first so she is going to show you that and you want to make sure that you have this skill on your own before you try and put the twist in. When you have got that and you are ready to twist you are going to try and figure out which way you twist. What you'll do is you'll stand on the line and you'll jump and do a half a turn so jump, turn so she knows she is going to be twisting that way. So she is going to come on up on the block and show you here and arms up, that's o'kay and finish, very good. We are going to show you that again. You are going to see that she is going to go to the top of her flip, as she is upside down she is going to twist so you want to do your twist on the way down. Very good. That's how you do a backflip with a twist."
