"Hi, my name's Veronica Baragas with My Wiggles and Giggles dot com, and I'd like to share with you how to position an infant for sleep. Now, I know that it can be a little grueling and scary when letting your child go to sleep at the end of the night. Sometimes, a lot of parents do co-sleep which is a little bit more comforting for those parents who are worried about putting them in a crib so soon. A lot of the times, you can get a large pillow and put it between you and your partner or, you know, maybe if you have; I would put the bed against the wall, and kind of put them furtherest away from the edge of the bed and position them face up. I would never put an infant on their belly. They are not able to roll around. It could easily suffocate themselves in a pillow or in a crack. If you are not co-sleeping, and you are putting your baby or your infant in a crib, always make sure that you put them on their back, and you allow nothing in the crib. No sleepy, you know, no lovies, no animals, no blankets, just what it is that's going to cover them up. So, that way you can eliminate all possibilities of suffocation. So, definitely make sure that you keep them on their back, and they'll let you know naturally when they're able to roll around; when you can start putting them on their tummy."
