"Hi, if you have young children at home and you were thinking about things to do to help them improve their vocabulary, making alphabet dice just might be that way. My name is Dean Hale and let me show you how to make some alphabet dice. What you can do is you can take some oven baked clay that you can buy at your arts and crafts store. It comes in white, it comes in red and it also comes in green. Now what you do with this clay is you take and you're going to put it in your hand, you're going to roll it in to a ball. And as you roll it in to a ball, it doesn't have to be absolutely perfect, but just get it in to that ball shape and then you're going to press from either side and get your basic shape of a die. After you do that you're then going to take, this is a tool again I bought at an arts and crafts store, couple of bucks, and you can push to make to make the area of the flat area. And you can get your die shape as you want it to be. Now this is one that I've already worked on here. And as you can see what I did here is I tried to etch in with a sharp instrument some of the letters that I put on there. Now what you can do is, do that on each side. But after you do that what I would suggest is you can take a paint pen and you can go ahead and you can fill the letters as you go along. That way, if the paint pen does at some point wear off, you always have the etching to go back to. You can do it in white as I have here, or you can make it in green, a little bit bigger or if you have real young children you can make it in a size like this. You're going to put the clay in an oven for about fifteen to twenty minutes at two hundred fifty degrees and we let it cool and when it comes out, you've got some dice and you can teach your kids how to read and how to learn letters a little better. Again I'm Dean Hale. I just showed you how to make some alphabet dice."
