"As I was growing up, I think with, with anybody, everybody kind of has a curiosity to fly and maybe get up in the air and learn how to fly and mine started ever since I can remember. Back in Kindergarten they asked what we wanted to be, we were going to draw a picture and they were going to put it in a time capsule and when we graduated from High School, they were going to come back and open up the capsule and let everybody see what they wanted to be, and I remember drawing an airplane from day one. And once I got out of High School I still had that desire and that's when I enrolled at Utah State and went up for their Aviation program. It's a four year degree up there, based on your general courses and also on some advanced Aviation courses dealing with hydraulics, electrical, weather, aerodynamics, things like that. And once after school I became a flight instructor, mainly to use as a stepping stone to build more experience and build time so I could qualify eventually for, a bigger airline or a bigger company, fly bigger aircraft. Once, once you start flying it's kind of a addicting thing, even though it takes some work and it takes practice. It still, there's something about flying that just really is appealing and it really gives you, a really good feeling, self-confidence and satisfaction that you can take an airplane from, from full takeoff, to landing and across country and do it all by yourself is really, is really a satisfying feeling. The time I finally decided I wanted to be a pilot for sure was shortly after I graduated from High School. I always wanted to be one and was just fascinated by airplanes and flying itself. I always watched the big jets and down by the airport and always wanted to do it. And once I graduated I just decided that's what I wanted to do and just went for it and applied to Utah State and started going to school for it."
