"Hi, welcome everybody, my name is Lars Erik Robinson, my company is LarsEr Arts. All Around Art-tainment is my slogan. Today I'm going to talk about how you do different ears in caricature. Here is a different sketch I did that I found actually in my pad here when I was looking through. I did an ear right here and it actually loops over, and then you have the inside of it. So there's always a little slit right here, in the top of the ear. Now that's like a more three quarter view, so if you were doing an ear you have to imagine the top part of the lid here first, and then the inside which normally you don't see it that much but in a caricature you try to show it a little bit more. And then, you show the lip on the bottom. Here is some different sketches that I did of different angles, profile one, if it was a profile ear, you start right where the eyes are and go back, and go down to where the bottom of that - where the line is up here. Then you imagine where the hair ends, so you show the inside of where the ear is, then show the little slit that's there, come around. Same if you're looking straight on on it, that's a different angle. So that's looking more straight on to it. And we did that three quarter view. Ears are very complex, but basically what ears are made out of it is three different rings, one that has a little bit of a slit right there, that phase off, and then another one that comes down all the way. And then a hole right there. Well thank you guys for joining me. I hope you understand a little bit more how to do ears in caricature."
