"Hi there my name is Jerry Hughes an my wife and I Penny Hughes we own Der Kuchen Laden. It's located at 258 East Main Street in Fredericksburg, Texas. And that would be Little Chef.Com on the web and we are located on the corner of Lincoln and Main Street and we are a kitchen shop. But I would have to say that makes us unique is the experience that you have here that sort of gets translate to your kitchen. We call that the little chef experience. Well what happens here is that you walk into a building that instead of being huge, I mean it's a large building, but it's really scaled down and all the rooms are small and so you have little areas of cookware, little areas of cookie cutters, bake ware, we have a library so we have lots of little areas that you can really focus in. And that's really what we invite you to do is to come in and have that shopping experience and then the people that work here everyone of us love to cook, we love to eat and so we love sharing with you how best to use all the little tools that your going to find and well you know we like swapping stories too. So you can come in and just swap a story with us. So we like to make it really kind of a fun place to be. We also have a coffee bar. I love to sit down and have a cup of coffee with somebody from where ever and I have met people from all over the world. The part about being the little chef experience in your own kitchen really has grown out of I guess my wife's experience, my experience we grew up in the kitchen. I learned to cook at eight she learned how to cook when she was young. She went on to a career in cooking. She learned cooking at Cordon Bleu in London and I well I'm just kind of the short order guy, the short order gourmet mind you. So that's it."
