"Hi. My name's Misty and I'm going to show you how to preserve your Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween. Whenever you're not using your Jack-O-Lantern as a decoration, you're going to want to cover it with plastic wrap. When it's fully covered, put it in the refrigerator and bring it out only when you need it. This will help it. If it starts looking dry and shriveled, you can put it in a bucket of water. It's going to take a while for it to get back to its normal shape and it's going to need time to dry, but that would be a way to save it. If it starts looking a little bad just around the edges, put a little petroleum jelly. That can help. Now, if it starts shriveling because it's moldy, there's really nothing you can do. It's time for it to go into the compost pile. Remember, be safe and have a happy Halloween."
