First of all you want to get rid of all your fall decor and bring out your Christmas decorations and just kind of, you know set the mood. You want to make sure you get your invitations sent out late November right after Thanksgiving or the first week in December so that guest can plan their schedule accordingly and hope to make it to your party. You know, bring out your dinner ware, you know, whether it be plastic ware, paper ware or you know, if you have Christmas china, you know, serve on that as well. You can get, you know different platters, you know in your festive colors you know. Right here we have you know, some red and some silver platters. For your menu, you can do something a little informal and do just like passed appetizers or maybe some desserts. You could do a formal dinner or have a buffet so the guests can you know, mingle throughout and catch up with guests that they haven't seen in a while. You want to make sure your bar is well stocked. Make sure you have beer and wine, soft drinks, you know liquor on hand as well as mixers to go along with that. And you know if you want you can dress in attire that's festive, you can ware Santa hats, you can have guests come in you know, festive attire as well. Make sure you have some holiday music playing in the background to set the mood. You can also have carolers if you want some entertainment. You know you can hire carolers to sing Christmas carols throughout the evening as well. So those are just some ideas on how to throw a successful Christmas party at your home. Again, I'm Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events, and have a happy holiday."
