"So you've decided to host a Christmas party and you don't want to do all the cooking. So I'm going to tell you how to throw and host a potluck dinner for a Christmas event. First of all I would sit down in plenty of time and kind of develop a menu. And think about the guest that you think you think will be attending. If they have any specialty deserts that they make or great dips you know that they are famous for, kind of incorporate everybody's you know special niche into the party. Once you do that, you want to go ahead and start sending out your invitations and maybe put a little tag line on there to tell them what to bring specifically or you can kind of leave it open as far as the course goes. You can have you know certain people bring in appetizers, another person can bring you know a side dish. You can make you know kind of take care of the main dish as far as you know making a roast beef or lasagna or a turkey or a ham. And then just have you know some of the other guests make accompaniments for that. And you can also have, designate somebody to bring desert as well. So those are some of the ideas on how to organize and host a potluck dinner for Christmas. Again I'm Jessica Meiczinger and have a happy holiday."
