"I'm Greg Hansen and I've been a record producer for about thirty five years and we are talking about how to listen to music online on your computer. Well some basic things you need are of course a computer to begin with and some speakers. Usually the computer has some speakers built in. So you or at least a headphone jack that you can put a set of headphones on. And another couple of ingredients you might need are a program or two that will allow you to listen to things for example, like wavs media or quicktime. And those two programs will make it very simple to just go somewhere in your browser say like iTunes or actual online radio station of which there are thousands. Click on that in your browser and then with the proper programming will just come up and begin to play. You can listen to radio online almost every radio station has an online feed, you can listen to independent records online. Every artist will usually have samples of their work that play on their websites. You can also go to some of the well known music download sites like iTunes or Rhapsody or Napster and all of these things, even Myspace were you can listen to new artists and independents by clicking a few buttons on your mouse. For example on my website, greg hypen hansen dot com there's a little player down at the bottom well that has controls on it just like a tape recorder and you can push the play button and it will play a bunch of my hits that were on the charts over the last ten years. And that's about as simple as it gets. As long as you got a way to listen to that and the proper programming on your computer, and most of them come with that already when you buy them. You'll be able to listen to your heart's content and not drop a dime for anything."
