"We are here to talk a little bit about recycling, hold it, hold it a minute. The prescription isn't working right in these glasses anymore. Wait a minute, I can't throw these glasses away, I just heard a statistic from the World Health Organization that there are over a hundred and fifty three million people in this world who need eyeglasses but they can't afford them. Well I figured out a great way to put this with that. Well I didn't figure it out, the Lions Club did. If you have any eyeglasses that you would like to have recycled, actually they are reconditioned and distributed to people who need them, the Lions club will do it for you. To find out the nearest Lions club facility that recycles eyeglasses go to their website find out where you can recycle them and go to your house and find all those old prescription eyeglasses that are knocking around in the draws, in the cupboards or where ever else they are and get them to the Lions club. They will recondition them and distribute them to one of those hundred and fifty three million people that need them. That's one way you can help the environment and help other people while you are at it."
