"Hi, I'm Kerri at Zebra in Berkeley, and I'm here to tell you about what piercings hurt the most. In general, any cartilage piercing is very, very sensitive and does hurt a lot. That's on the ear, your nose, in addition to cartilage piercings, the most painful piercings are your nipples. Nipples are very, very sensitive and actually hurt even more than some of the other piercings downstairs. One way that you can deal with the pain better and or get rid of the pain is by taking some kind of pain reliever before you receive your piercing, usually about a half an hour to an hour before, that will cut down on your pain. Also you can use a topological numbing solution. Some piercing places offer it and others don't. If the piercing place does not offer a numbing solution, you can usually find one online."
