Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Kerri at Zebra in Berkeley, and I'm here to talk about the dangers of eyebrow piercings. The dangers of eyebrow piercing can be narrowed down to infection, rejection, or just having someone who's not qualified piercing it wrong. The absolute worst thing that can happen would be infection or rejection. The chances of someone poking your eye out with an eyebrow piercing are slim to none. If you have someone who is professional and knows what they're doing, then the chances of that are zero. With an eyebrow infection, you're definitely going to want to take care of it sooner rather than later because it is so close to your brain, and you would be a very sad person if that infection did travel to your brain. Doesn't happen, unless you're locked in a closet or a cardboard box. Usually, people know when their piercings are infected and take care of them right away. Rejection, on the other hand, is something that you can't control and you can't stop it. If your body decides to reject your eyebrow piercing, it's just going to reject it, so you should probably just take the jewelry out before you end up with an even worse scar than you probably already have. And that's it."
