The nice pubs and the nice restaurants are all offering nice Scottish food which are fairly inexpensive. On your ways you will definitely see many many caf?s which are really comfortable to sit in with a newspaper and to drink a little beer. The Scottish always eat big breakfasts. If you are in a bed, bed and breakfast hotel, you should order for cereals with milk. Which is always followed in Scotland, by either ham and eggs or sausages or bacon or black pudding for the adventurous ones. And maybe you can drink a cup of coffee or a cup of tea next to it. Right at the moment you arrive at Edinburgh, you should pick a newspaper called the Scotsman. Really useful information you will find in it.
