"So it's almost time for New Year's and you're thinking about what you can do and you're thinking about just spending some time with some friends and family. Well, my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events, and I'm going to tell you how to celebrate New Year's with your friends and family. First you're going to want to do is decide what you guys are going to do. Are you just going to stay at home and gather at someone's house or are you guys going to go out and maybe celebrate and go somewhere? Think about if you are going to go somewhere make sure that you have a designated driver. You might want to think about getting a limo or a bus or something like that to kind of keep everyone together. If you're looking to just do it at your home make sure that you get some nice you know party hats and noise makers and you know, set the tone and the atmosphere for the event. If you're at home you're going to want to make sure that you have some nice foods out for people, just snacky stuff if you guys want to munch on, if it's towards the end of the evening or even having a potluck and having all your friends and family each bring a dish and celebrate that way. Have some nice music in the background for guests, make sure of course you have your alcohol, your beers, your wine because this is you know obviously a time to celebrate and have a good time. Make sure that you have your champagne on hand when it strikes midnight. Make sure you have some champagne glasses as well. If you don't have a lot of champagne glasses or if you don't have any at all, that's okay, you can always go to a party store and just pick up those little plastic glasses you can put together and that's suitable for it. So those are just some ideas on how to celebrate New Year's Eve with your friends and family."
