"My name Brandon Saricus on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make your own recipe book. Now the next thing I want to talk about is an actual print book. The, the, the advantage to the print book is that, you know, it's very very legible. It's very easy to read. It's also, you know this one actually has pictures in it too. But, you know, you're looking at something that's very static. You know, you've got something that's really easy to see. Now given you do lose that charm of the hand written aspect of it. And, you know, and printing a book, well it used to be horribly, horribly expensive, now with some of the new on line printing techniques, it's not nearly as bad. You can get a, as long as you do all the work and you know, type it up yourself, there's a, there's several different on line book printing services that will print a soft cover book for under fifteen dollars. And a hard cover book for typically well under thirty. As long as, you know, it's within normal dimensions and normal pages. Now, of course the downside to that is you have to be able to page layout yourself. Which, you know, if you're inclined to do so, is great. You know, and it's super super easy to do. The other thing I want to discuss are photos. Now, you know, most of your, you know, you're modern real cookbooks are going to have photos in them. But you know, I mean some of my favorite cookbooks don't have any photos at all. And it's just, the reason this does, this is actually a textbook, cookbook for when I was in school. But you don't need photos. But you know it certainly doesn't hurt. I mean, especially if try to sell your, if you're trying to sell your book, photos are very very important. But if it's just for your own personal use, you don't really need them. You know, you can just go without them, because you know what it's for. Or whoever you're making it for is going to have a strong idea of what they're making. So, that's not such a big deal. But, like I said, just go into recap. The pluses to doing a print book, are that it looks fantastic. The downside is that it can be expensive. You know, not prohibitively expensive. But if you're doing, you know, multiple copies or something, it gets a little costly. But if you're going to sell it, it's really the only way you're going to go about selling it. Because you can't do a hand written cookbook that you're going to sell."
