"Hello, my name is Eric White. Tonight we're going to talk about what you need to link your computer to your television. Now, it's a pretty simple thing, yeah. First you need to check your television and see what types of video sources that it can take, be it an S-video cable or a DVI cable. And what you want to do is make sure that your video card on your computer, on your computer, is capable of putting that kind of out...output via the S-video or the DVI plug. So, really all you need is the matching S-video or the matching DVI plug for the types of connections that your computer and your television have. Now bare in mind that some TV's have different resolution requirements and if you try and show an image from your computer that is a higher resolution than your television, you're not going to be able to see it. So, get your DVI cables, get your S-video cables, link your computer to your TV and use your TV like your monitor."
