"My name is Contessa Hunziger and I am a LPN and I work for Heartland Occupational Medicine. The reason I became a nurse was because when I was ten years old my father fell off of a roof and broke his hip and I remember going to the emergency room and seeing him laying there in considerable pain and I remember the nurses just taking excellent care of him and it just really left a major impact on my mind and I decided from then on that I was going to be a nurse because I wanted to help people the way that these nurses had helped my father out and I feel that it is a rewarding career because you meet a broad spectrum of people. There are all different kinds of areas that you can go into. You can help out with babies or cancer patients or OB clinics, there is just a vast range of areas that you can go into in the medical field and I just feel it is rewarding. I enjoy doing it. I've been doing it for ten years now and it is just what I wanted to do. Thank you for watching."
