Video Transcript

"My name's Contessa Hunziger. I'm an L.P.N. I work for Heartland Occupational Medicine. And you become a pediatric nurse, because when you're in nursing school, you do go through pediatric rotation. And that's where you're on the floor, and you're helping out with the kids, whether they're sick, whether they're, you know, whatever's going on with them. And after you graduate, if that's where you decide to go, then where ever you're going to be working at, you would need to go and apply for that job. Have the interview, you know. They decide if they want to hire you or not, and you pretty much make that your specialty. That's one of your areas in school that you do learn about, is pediatrics. So if you decide that's something you like and want to do, then that's what you pursue. So, again, thank you for watching again."
