"My name is Concessa Hunziger and I am a LPN. I work for Heartland Occupational Medicine and I have been doing this for about a year and a half now. I have been a nurse for over ten years. There are different types of nurses. You can be an OB nurse, a Pediatric nurse. You can work in clinics like what I do in Occupational medicine but then there is also Internal medicine. There is geriatrics, psychiatric. You can work with infectious disease. You can work with, there is just all kinds out there that you can do and there are some Ear, Nose and Throat. There are some though that only RN's can work because they are a little more specialized. What they do LPN's a lot of times deal with the direct patient care and that type of things and when you have an RN there a lot of times they deal with the drugs that we can't do that we have been trained to use and IV pushes and things like that, we're not able to do, LPN's aren't. When you deal with the heart and cardiac and stuff like that they have a little more training than what we do so it just kind of depends. Thank you for watching. My name is Concessa Hunziger. I'm a LPN and I work for Heartland Occupational Medicine."
