"Hi, I'm Robert. Today I will tell you all about CD-RW. CD-RW is basically a CD rewritable, which means you can write on this CD over and over again a number of times. The material on the CD-RW has the ability to change the transparency from opaque to transparent. That is how you write data on the CD. If it's transparent you can write on the CD. If it's opaque that means the data is already stored on that CD or CD-R, or CD-RW. As compared to the CD-R when you write on the CD once it is not rewritable. The difference between CD-RW and CD-R, is that CD-RW media has the ability to change transparency and therefore you're able to write on the CD over and over again. The CD-R does not have that ability. There's just one thing to note about this though, the CD-R will work on any player but the CD-RW is not as friendly and it will not work on older players."
