"Have you ever wondered if it's possible to cure the common cold? Hi, I'm Doctor Savage. I'm a family practice physician in Tampa. Unfortunately, of the two hundred and fifty rhinoviruses known to cause the common cold, there currently is no cure for the virus. Hence, what to do at that point, try over-the-counter medicines, and always keep in mind possible signs of more serious conditions, more so that just congestion and a runny nose. That would include, but, it's not limited to, signs of a sinus infection lasting more that a week, in which you'd have sinus pressure and purulent, nasty drainage coming from your nose. Strepfaringitis, in which you have fever, swollen lymph nodes in your neck, and large tonsils. Other things to keep in mind are, you know, if you're short of breath, if you have a persistent cough. You might have bronchitis or pneumonia, and at that point it would be very important to see a....seek medical attention right away. I'm Doctor Savage. I wish you the best of health."
