"How to give a facial massage. In giving a facial massage, some of the muscles that you will treat are the masseter, which is the deep, strong jaw muscle, often responsible for TMJ disorder, grinding, clenching of the jaw. So you want to sink in just below the cheekbone, avoiding the parotid gland. You can also treat the temporalis tendon, and the medial pterygoid. The scalp holds quite a bit of tension. This area is the atlanto-occipital joint."
