Hi, this is Eric Sterns with Expert Village. We're talking about fire safety and fire construction. Right now we're going to talk about the, the necessity of fire safety. Fire's critical with respect to a survival situation, and emergency situation. What you want to make sure to do is that you're not starting your fire in an area or in a way that is going to cause more harm than good. For that reason if there is an extreme dry area that you're in, a desert area that hasn't received water in a significant amount of time usually you'll see alerts and in different places high fire alerts. You want to avoid using fire if possible. Also you want to avoid starting fires next to your car. You in, you in addition want to avoid starting fires under trees especially under trees that have low hanging branches. Basically just utilize common sense. Also when you do start a fire make sure that you have a sufficient amount of water. It does not have to be filtered or purified obviously. And or sand on hand to use to extinguish the fire if need be because you want to make sure that your fire doesn't become out of your control and spread. Most emergency fire, survival fires should be actually very small in nature anyway.
