"My name is Doctor Endre Sos, and I will tell you how to make the dogs throw up after swallowing a foreign object. If your dog swallowed a foreign object, there is a must to see the veterinarian. But sometimes there are situations when you cannot see him or her, and you can help your dog immediately. And the decision in these times are in your hands. What is very important, if there is one part of the foreign object which can be seen, and still in the mouth of the dog, then try to pull it out from the oral cavity of the animal. That's an important task, but also intervention, which should be taken very carefully. Be always sure that you will not be bitten, and be always sure how your dog will react. If the dog already swallowed the foreign object, then it's very important to throw it up, because if it's the kind of foreign object it can be even fatal, or can make a blockage in the intestinal system of the animal. The easiest way to induce vomiting is using hydrogen peroxide. If you use a quarter cup of this drug, and take it to a turkey baster, just....then...go with the dog to a bathtub, where you can clean the animal and also clean the area, if vomiting occurs. Then make the dog gently to swallow this drug, the hydrogen peroxide. And within a minute the dog should throw up the foreign object. But it's also very important, never do this if the foreign object is sharp, because if the dog throws it up, vomits it up, can cause very serious injuries.
