"My name is Doctor Endre Sos, and I will tell you shortly how to determine if your dog needs medical care. Knowing the fact that your dog is in trouble, or even in big trouble is not easy. But to be sure that something is wrong with your dog, you have to know properly your animal, your pet, which means just daily sessions, playing with the animal, grooming the animal, petting the animal, touching all parts of the animal, and then you will see whether anything is wrong, anything has changed. Also, on the other hand, be aware of the fact what your dog is doing during the day. What is the daily routine? How he or she behaves? How he or she deficating, urinating, walking, because if there is any change during this normal daily session, you will also know that the dog needs medical care. For example, if there is a struggling during defication or urination, or if there's a discoloration of the urine or the feces, there's a discharge from the nose, there is a swollen part of the body, these are conditions which can not be treated at home. You have to call and see your local veterinarian to have your animal examined. For the most important thing is the good knowledge of the normal behavior, the good knowledge of the normal body of your dog, and the first action if something has changed."
