"Here is a great read. "Fountain Pens, Past and present". Now you may think that is kind of humorous but I'm telling you people love fountain pens. All these old fashioned ones, people just love them. I'm in the store and they come in almost daily, well maybe not every day but you know, they come in often. Fountain pens are great collectibles so this is a great book past and present and also you will be pleased to know that this particular book does not have 1,000 pages. This one, if you can do a quick read only has 270 so you can get through it a lot quicker but it talks about the different types of pens, even the ink bottles are collectible, how cool is that? These ink bottles are probably worth $20, $25, $35 a piece with the original label. You know who collects these, these lawyers love to put these on their shelves. here is also some old ads for ink. Isn't it cool all these different colors of the little kittens representing the different types of ink. This is the kind of ink where you have the little fountain pens and you pull the little lever and suck up the ink again and then that is how you would write. Then again look at how beautiful these are. These are just beautiful pens. They are enamel, they are made out of baked light. Look at this Puchini wrote his greatest operas with a Parker pen. Did you know that? I don't think you did. I told you you would learn a lot. Now we have more advertising about the pens but these pens you know, here is some more advertising for Christmas. These pens are worth a lot of money. They make them in 14 carat cold. I have had 14 carat gold Shapers, Parker pens, absolutely gorgeous. They run 3, 4, $500 a piece. You'd be amazed at what some of these pens will get in terms of value. Here is some more of the beautiful gold and silver versions, just gorgeous the gold age, the modern age 1960's it was called the modern age. These pens are wonderful, look at that. It is another wonderful thing to collect because it doesn't take up a lot of space and you don't see them everywhere so you don't have to think oh do I have that one. Like me I collect statues of liberties, don't even ask. I have a lot. I have one in my back yard that is six feet tall. But anyway fountain pens, very excellent. I recommend it, it is a nice hobby to start. Go for it."
