"OK now that we have the back end jacked up in the air, both rear tires are off the ground, we're ready to install the jack stands. Just like when placing the jack, we want to find a component of the car whether it be the pinch weld on the rocker, part of the frame, that's going to be strong enough that it can rest on this without damaging the car, it will hold the car securely. You want to make sure you don't place it on any of the suspension components, these trailing arms, not have it near anything that will bend. So we're going to place these out from the cross member in the back. All this is a structured component and is solid and we're going to slide them right in there and it will be nice and secure. We want to put them in the same place on each side. We have both jack stands in place. They're at the same height. Now we're ready to lower the jack, put the weight of the car on the jack stands and then we'll be ready to remove the tires."
