"Hello my name is Adrea Orta Mashburn and today I'm going to discuss how to prepare baby formula for your infant. When preparing baby formula for your child the first thing you need to remember is you need to decide on which kind of formula you want to use. When you go to any kind of grocery store or any baby needs store you are going to see a plethora of different kinds of formula to offer your child. Make sure that you discuss with your pediatrician which formula that you believe will be the most beneficial for your child in order for him or her to receive the proper nutrients on a daily basis. Once you have chosen a formula the next thing you need to do is make sure that you properly read through all the instructions. By preparing the formula it is typically going to depend on the age of your particular infant. For newborns you will be preparing about two ounces of formula at a time. When a child gets a little bit older you will go from 4 ounces and then finally to an 8 ounce bottle. Make sure that you properly read the instructions so that you understand how much formula to create for a 2 ounce or 4 ounce and an 8 ounce bottle. If you are preparing a 2 ounce, fill your bottle to the 2 ounce line. If you are preparing a 4 ounce bottle then prepare to the 4 ounce line and then finally an 8 ounce or 6 ounce bottle you will prepare to that line as well. Once you put the water in it you will then begin to scoop the amount of formula. If you are preparing a 2 ounce bottle of formula you will typically place 1 scoop of formula. For a 4 ounce bottle you will put in 2 scoops of formula. For a 6 ounce bottle you will be scooping in 3 ounces of formula and ten finally for an 8 ounce bottle you will be scooping in 4 ounces of formula. Once you have placed the formula into the water and into the bottle you will then place the nipple and the lid on top of the bottle. Make sure that you securely tighten the lid so that you begin shaking the formula that there s none spilling out. So remember be patient, be safe and always put your baby's needs first."
