"Hi everyone. This is Chris Markowski, President of Markowski Investments and host of the Watchdog on Wall Street radio show here to talk about buying bonds online and how you go about doing it. Well, much the same way you would go about buying stock online, whether it be using Charles Schwab or E-Trade or any of those other houses out there. They also offer bond departments as well where you can go basically see what type of offering that they have at any given time. I got to offer a little bit of caution here though because sometimes the bond market which is very much a negotiated market, sometimes the spreads in there are not exactly what you are going about looking for. Not to mention the fact that when you're going out and buying bonds because there's different types of bonds, you're going to have to take your tax considerations into account if you're going to be buying municipal bonds, what state you live in, all sorts of various different factors in buying bonds. And more often than not, online they're not telling you how to go about doing that. So if you are going to go about buying bonds online, a lot of these online trading firms actually offer you a live person to speak to when going about doing that and I would highly suggest that when purchasing bonds online. This is Chris Markowski, your watchdog on Wall Street."
