"Hi my name is Veronica Baragas with MyWigglesAndGiggles.com, and I am going to share with you how to wash a toddler's hair. So a lot of the times, by this time, the kids, they usually love bath time. You know, it is a fun time for bubbles, and you know, water play and what not. But one of the trickiest is how to wash their hair, especially to keep it out of their eyes and ears. So one of the techniques that I use, and you can find this in many stores, baby stores, you can even ask friends or you can even use one that is not an actual baby visor, but what we use a lot is a safe visor, and it will definitely cover this area so that when you do wash their hair, it, you know, falls back and over their ears. So definitely what I would do is just kind of put on their visor, and grab probably about a dime-sized amount of soap, and kind of lather it up in your hand. Make sure your baby's hair is nice and wet, and just kind of, you know, make sure that you do not use your nails, but your fingertips, to kind of, you know, massage their head, to get all of the dirt and whatever it is that is needed, to take off, you know, for your baby. So definitely just massage their hair, they will like it. And when you are using, you know, warm water or whatnot, definitely just pour, and make sure that they tilt their head back so that, you know, you can avoid the eyes and the ears. Now if you do not have a visor, a lot of the times what I would do is just kind of hold, I would ask them to lean back, and you would support their neck and the back, the lower end of their head, and kind of just, you know, pour the water, so that way it flows back and not into their eyes and ears. It can be a tricky process because they like to move a lot, and they squirm, and, you know, they are afraid themselves to get water in their eyes and ears, but try to make it a fun little game, and make it easy for them, and show them that it is part of the routine and something that they need to do."
