All of us are always looking for ways to beef up our resume. Let me warn you. Make sure that anything you put on a resume, can be verified and it's true. But there are a couple of things that you can do if you want to get a better job. Improve your skill level. It may mean taking a few courses at the community college or your local college. It also may mean, attending seminars or workshops. Some, your company may put on. Some you may actually have to invest in yourself. The Internet is a great way to acquire additional skills. You can do it sometimes, in the comfort of your own home or your office. The real key in helping your resume to look better for that new job. Is to identify some skills that you need to build up. Skills that would be necessary in any new position. And then to highlight those on your resume. I'm Gloria Campbell with Advantage Training Systems in St. Petersburg , Florida. One of the best tips you can, I can give you. Is to make sure that you have current information on there of workshops. Or training that you've attended. It really highlights to the employer, that you are trying to build a better resume."
