"Now I'm going to show you how to apply the base paint to our milk carton. Again this is going to be used if we're painting our milk carton we want to cover up any distinguishing signs and colors so that we can get the, the colors that we want to really shine through. So we just cover it up. It's a thick paint, it's a white paint and it's used as a base so that you can paint right over it. And we cover up all the areas that are going to, that have a lot of color and ink on then the logos, and all the markings of the, of the milk carton. And once we're done it's not going to, it's not going to cover up everything. You'll still be able to see some colors through it but it'll make it much easier to apply the colors that we want later on. So that, so that we'll be able to design our windmill the way that we want. There are some people that do these projects and they also do this step before when they're working with kids so the, the project would all ready be dried and the kids don't have to wait. So that's another thing you might want to consider depending on who yo'’re doing the project with. You might want to just do this step on the, on the cartons so that the kids will be able to just jump right in and start painting, and not have to wait. On the other hand you might want to draw out your project a little longer and this is also fun for the kids. They also like to, this step painting, covering the milk carton. So now that we've covered out carton with the whit based paint we're going to put it aside and let it dry. And this is a good time to work on the arms of the windmill. That will also take a lot of time. And we're going to start making the arms of the windmill as this is drying."
