"I'm Layla Beth and I'm going to talk to you about how to walk like a model. You are going to need shoes that you can walk in. Sometimes this is not very easy so you are going to want to practice. A good thing you can do is to put masking tape on the bottom of your shoes to keep from slipping while you practice or while you are actually in your show. You are going to want to practice or use shoes that you already have broken in. Either way you are going to want to start by placing one foot in front of the other as if you are walking a tightrope. Land with the ball of your feet first. You never want to land with your heel first. Allow your arms to swing naturally from side to side and this will help give you the model walk as you walk the runway. You are going to want to have very good posture. Stand with your shoulders back, your rear end tight, your chest out and your head up. Think long lines, head up, chin slightly up not too far though we don't want to give them a shot of your nostrils, then just casually practice walking. Walk up and down your hall, let your head be the very last thing that moves when you make your turn."
