"Hi my name's Veronica Baragas with mywigglesandgiggles.com. And I'd like to share with you how to do a background check on a nanny. A lot of the times you can check with your department of family and protective services. They are the most of times who are regulating child care, child care centers and what not. So they have an option that you can actually register with your state and like as a family provider. I'm sorry, not like an actual family provider as a child care provider but you can just register as a family and they keep track of all the prospective nannies, babysitters or caregivers for you and I think as a small fee each state is different. Or even if you're just looking for a nanny there's a great sight called greataupair.com and they have a long list of backgrounds that they can do. They can check references for you. They can do criminal background check, a driving check, a driving record check or what not. So Just kind of check online with that greataupair.com and or with the department of family and protective services."
