"Hello my name is Chris Ardolina and I'm a golf instructor here at the Jim Mclean golf school here at the Doral resort and spa in Miami, Florida. In this clip today we are going to be teaching you how to repair a ball mark on the greens. As you can see down here, sometimes your ball comes to rest in it's own pitch mark or even if it bounces on the green it will leave a hole something like this. Unfortunately a lot of people are instructed the incorrect way to fix these. Which can ultimately damage the greens on the golf course. So today what we are going to do is we are going to teach you how to do it properly. Now what we're not going to do is when we put this in here, we use a divet tool or you can use a tee. Ok either one will work is fine. But what you want not to do is when you put this into the ground, you do not want to twist it or pull up. Ok all you are trying to do is put it in the ground and push in, you are putting it in, and you are pushing in. Pushing in. Pushing in. Pushing in. And you just keep working your way in. Keep working your way in. Keep working your way, keep working your way. Remember never try to twist or never pull up. Just put in and push in towards the center. Last thing you are going to do is you're going to take a nice little step on it with your foot and it will be nice and flat and you are ready to go. In today's clip we taught you to how to properly repair a ball mark on the green."
