"Hi, my name is Bruce Acuna and I'm with Bruce's K.O. Boxing in Austin, Texas, and today I'm going to show you how to throw a jab. Basic jab is, what you're going to do your hands are going to be right here up. This is my set up hand. The most important hand is my left hand, my jab hand. I always want to make my opponent afraid of my left hand. The way we're going to throw our jab is, what we're going to do, we're going to bring it straight out here and at the last moment, we'll turn it at impact. So we're just going to bring it here and back, out and back. I don't want to start turning back here because now I'm opening up my ribs. I don't want to come here. What I want to do is I want to watch it and turn at impact. Watch it and turn at impact. Now I want to throw a little power jab. What I would do, I would sit here, turn, and at the same time turn my hip as I'm making contact right here and just turn my hip at the same time as my punch has landed. This would be my power jab if I'm sitting in the pocket. Good luck and remember, train like a champion."
